Fondue Pots usually are comprised of two parts. A caquelon or (earthernware pot) over a rechud (Small Burner). The best things about fondue pots are their ability to maintain the constant temperature. This gives the items that are being cooked a great consistency to them. You will also want to look for fondue pots that have a non stick coating. This will make it easier for clean up and prevent it from getting damaged in the long run.
